The one day Safety And Vigilance for Everyone, S.A.V.E. program provides public and private sector managers and security personnel with a behavior assessment technique to counter these threats to enhance security measures in the layered defense concept. This training program will enhance the capabilities of security personnel responsible for protecting specific areas of infrastructure by providing a proven behavior assessment methodology showing them how to scan an area with a high volume of patrons and pick out the anomalies in behavior that sets individuals apart from the norm. They will learn how to approach individuals in a non-confrontational manner to elicit information. The objective of this training plan is to enhance the capabilities of security personnel by providing behavior assessment screening training. The target audience will be private security personnel with the focus areas of responsibility being mass transit facilities to include train stations, bus terminals and airports, casinos, venues hosting sporting and concert events, shopping malls, theme parks, government buildings and other venues with a high volume of pedestrian traffic. This is a one day, DHS approved course where the participants will learn procedures based on observation of behavior and appearance, and brief non-threatening, non-custodial interviews of the public to determine whether elevated or reasonable suspicion exists that an individual is involved in planning or carrying out a terrorist attack using regular police/security patrols. Sexual assaults are some of the most sensitive of crimes and in most instances, the most serious. This training is designed to educate officers about sexual assault investigations and why they require a different approach. Unlike victims of other crimes who immediately look to notify the police, victims of sexual assaults often deal with shame, guilt and fear and may hesitate in reporting the crime. Victims of sexual assaults are a living, breathing-emotional crime scene that needs to be handled with a specific approach. Attendees will leave this class with a heightened awareness to the mindset of a victim and the sensitivity investigating sexual assaults require, so that suspects can not only be arrested but prosecuted to the fullest extent. This is a one day course. REGISTRATION IS WITH THE VENDOR - www.specializedletraining.com
