The Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs is seeking volunteers to assist with the upcoming Atlantic County Teen Arts Festival on Friday, May 3 from 8:00 AM to 1 PM on the campus of the Richard Stockton College in Pomona.
More than 1,000 teens are expected to be on campus to perform, exhibit and participate in workshops and master classes. Volunteers will be asked to assist participants in finding their way to these events and to monitor classrooms. Parents of participating teens are encouraged to volunteer. "We will work with parents who volunteer to insure that they have time to view their children's work and performances," stated Cynthia Mason Purdie, festival coordinator and administrator of the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
Those interested in volunteering may call the Office of Communications at (609) 343-2229.
