Atlantic County Veterans Service Medal Presentation - June 12

Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson and representatives of the Atlantic County Veterans Advisory Board willl present the Atlantic County Veterans Service Medal to 27 eligible members of the Four Seasons Veterans Club in Galloway at the club’s bi-monthly meeting. Another six Four Seasons Veterans Club members who previously received their medals will also be in attendance and be recognized. An additional 25 club members who are not able to attend this meeting, will receive their medals at a later date.

The presentation will take place on Monday, June 12 at The Smithville Inn in Galloway.                           

The Atlantic County Veterans Service Medal was created in 2007 at the suggestion of the county executive to recognize Atlantic County residents who had served in the military and thank them for their sacrifice and service. To date, approximately 2,000 medals have been presented.
