Free Webinars Offer Medicare Open Enrollment Assistance

The Atlantic County State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is providing free webinars to help educate and inform residents about the annual Medicare Open Enrollment Period that begins October 15 and runs through December 7.
 
“Medicare Plans change year to year, as can an individual’s health needs. Atlantic County’s certified SHIP counselors offer trusted and unbiased assistance so residents can make the best choices to meet their needs,” stated County Executive Dennis Levinson.
 
Selections made during Open Enrollment take effect on January 1, 2021.
 
The webinars are scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, October 27 and November 17, all at 11 AM.
 
Participants will learn about the basic Medicare coverage, changes in coverage, and supplemental coverage options as well as how to obtain free personalized assistance.
