Atlantic County Library System Branches Voted Best Libraries

The public voted and the results are in. The Atlantic County Library System swept the top four places for Best Library in the 2019 Best of the Press readers’ choice awards sponsored by the Press of Atlantic City.

The Galloway Township branch won the gold medal followed by silver medal winner Mays Landing branch. The Ventnor branch tied for bronze and the Egg Harbor Township branch was recognized with honorable mention.

“It is rewarding to know that our libraries are valued and appreciated by the public. We have a total of nine branches located throughout Atlantic County. While these four branches were top vote-getters, I strongly believe that if the awards extended to top 10, all our branches would be included,” stated County Executive Dennis Levinson. “They are all winners in my book.”

The Atlantic County Library System provides informational and recreational materials that help educate, enlighten and enrich the lives of county residents and visitors.

Branches are located in Brigantine, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway Township, Hammonton, Mays Landing, Pleasantville, Somers Point and Ventnor.
