The Atlantic County Division of Public Health will join in celebrating Rural Health Week by hosting two free events to promote greater access to quality health care among rural residents.
Event participants will receive information and assistance in enrolling in NJ Family Care and the federal health insurance Marketplace. They will also learn about the Register Ready program that helps first responders locate and evacuate those who may require assistance during an emergency due to physical or cognitive limitations, language barriers, or a lack of transportation. Free health education materials will also be available.
