Funding Secured for Emergency Assistance for the Homeless
Applications for emergency assistance for the homeless (SSH/CEAS) are once again being accepted by Atlantic County government now that state funding for the program has been secured.
This funding provides assistance with past due rent or mortgage, housing security deposits, first month's rent and utilities.
Residents who previously called the office during the program's temporary suspension are being contacted. New applicants may call county offices at (609) 345-6700 ext. 2985 or 2717 for assistance.
