Atlantic Cape May WIB Welcomes New Members

The Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board (WIB) appointed two new members to its board at a meeting held July 10th at the Waterfront Restaurant in Somers Point, New Jersey.

Appointed were: Larry Haas, Manager of the Atlantic County One Stop Career Center located at 1433 Bacharach Boulevard in Atlantic City and Mark Wampler, General Manager of the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing operated by Kravco Company.

The Atlantic Cape May WIB implements workforce strategies at the county level and provides funds to address the employment and training needs of adults, dislocated workers and youth. The system is designed to provide workforce preparation and employment programs that will meet the needs of area businesses, job seekers and those individuals looking to further their careers.

The Atlantic Cape May WIB is comprised of 45 representatives, shared between Atlantic and Cape May counties. The private sector represents over half of the membership, providing a diverse and informed board, drawn from its own communities.
