County Nutrition Centers Host Open Houses

Come see what Atlantic County's senior nutrition centers have to offer as they celebrate Older Americans Month with a series of open houses throughout the month of May.

"This is a great opportunity for those unfamiliar with the centers to visit the sites and see all the fun they may be missing," commented County Executive Dennis Levinson. "Activities include line dancing, bingo, craft classes, self defense courses and more. People can come to participate or just to socialize. The choice is theirs."

Visitors are also welcome to enjoy lunch, provided they call to make a reservation two days in advance. All activities are free but participants may make a $1.00 donation to enhance programs. The centers are open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Transportation to the centers can be arranged by calling any of the sites.
