Two Corrections Officers Promoted to Sergeant

Two Atlantic County Corrections Officers will be promoted to the position of sergeant at a ceremony on Friday, January 24 at 3 PM at the Canale Training Center, 5033 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township.

Sgt. Stephen D'Ambrosio was hired as an Atlantic County Corrections Officer in 1987 and completed the training academy in June, 1990. Sgt. D'Ambrosio is trained in admissions and center control. He lives in Buena with his wife, Karla, and their children.

Sgt. Kevin Lee has been an Atlantic County Corrections Officer since 1980. He attended the Herman Toulson Correctional Boot Camp Drill Instructor training in October, 1994 and is currently a Senior Drill Instructor for the justice facility's boot camp. He is also a member of the Department of Public Safety's honor guard. Sgt. Lee and his wife, Donna, are residents of Pleasanvtille.

County Executive Dennis Levinson said he is confident in the abilities of the two officers and their commitment to law enforcement. "I extend my congratulations and my appreciation for their service," he said.
