This is a five day comprehensive course conducted by members of the New Jersey State Police Polygraph Unit. This course has been taught statewide and received tremendous reviews from those who have graduated. Lewis has been in the polygraph field for twenty years and taught interview and interrogation in the original course. Investigating Crimes in an Electronic Age

This two-day course, taught by the FBI, provides an orientation into the world of computers, the internet, and how both can assist in various types of investigations. Blocks of instruction will include an introduction to computers and the internet, electronic crimes investigations, identity theft, online fraud and online sexual exploitation of children. Investigative Report Writing

This program will provide training in the composing and writing investigative reports. It will provide a review of specifics which the report should contain. The program is recommended for personnel who desire to sharpen their skill in the writing of such reports. Topics include: (1) being able to identify the essential elements of an investigative report to include the Who, What, When, Where, Why and How of an incident under investigation; (2) formatting an investigative report so that it reads in a clear, coherent manner and is free from inconsistencies or contradictions; (3) recognizing the appropriate resources available to produce a professional looking and readable report; (4) properly cross-referencing the investigative report to related statements by interested parties and/or evidence; (5) self-editing reports prior to supervisory review; (6) supporting documents needed to clarify or amplify individual points or statements presented in the investigative report. K-9 Basic Patrol Dog School

K-9 Patrol/Scent Class

There are only 15 slots available for this class.  The duration of this class is twenty-two weeks for certification of BOTH patrol and narcotics. This will be the Atlantic County John "Sonny" Burke K-9 Academy's dual purpose canine academy training class!
