Atlantic County Libraries Sweep Best of the Press Honors

The Atlantic County Library System has done it again by sweeping the Best Library category in the annual Best of the Press Readers’ Choice awards for the second consecutive year.

Our library branches are important community resources,” stated County Executive Dennis Levinson. “We are proud of our dedicated and knowledgeable staff and greatly appreciate this public recognition of our services.”

Three of the library system’s 10 branches took top prizes. The Galloway branch earned the gold medal, followed by the Ventnor branch with the silver medal, and the Mays Landing branch won the bronze medal. Additional branches are located in Absecon, Brigantine, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, Pleasantville and Somers Point.
