This Firefighter I program will provide the training necessary to attain the minimum basic skills the firefighter must have to safely perform duties at the entry level. This program meets the requirements of the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety for Firefighter Level I under N.J.A.C. 5:18C and follows the N.F.P.A. 1001. NJ State Police Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations, NJ Department of Health Blood Borne Pathogens, NJ Forest Fire Service's Basic Ground Cover Fires, Critical Incident Stress, CBRNE Awareness & Operations, Incident Command System 1-100 & 700, Autism & RlT Awareness, SCBA Mask Fit test, & CPR for the Professional Rescuer classes are included in this program. Course#: FFII -S23 This firefighter II program is based on the new curriculum adopted by the NJ Division of Fire Safety. It will provide the Firefighter I student with the necessary training to increase their firefighter skills. A large majority of the course is devoted to practical exercises in the areas of firefighter survival, rope rescue, advanced search & rescue, propane firefighting, vehicle extrication, basic first aid, technical rescue support, and other fire ground activities. FULL PPE REQUIRED FOR OUTSIDE EVOLUTIONS YOU MUST BRING A COMPLETED SCBA FACE FIT CERTIFICATION FORM.
