Volunteers assist Atlantic County Parks in many valuable ways, such as special events, programs, and environmental maintenance.
The following is a general listing of volunteer needs for the Atlantic County Parks System. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please call the Parks office at (609) 625-1897. You will fill out an application, have an interview and be on your way to a very rewarding and enjoyable experience in the Parks. You will receive quarterly listings of specific needs for the quarter and advanced notice of Park events.

Landscape Technician - Works with the maintenance unit on grounds, flower gardens, and greenhouse duties.
Landscape Technician/ Golf Course - Works with the golf course staff on grounds, flower gardens, and greenhouse duties. Will also pick up range balls.
Recreation Technician - Works on physical projects related to recreation programs.
Recreation Assistant - Works with recreation staff in program delivery. Can also conduct/teach programs in areas specific to individual skills.
Recreation Assistant/Golf Course - Works with the golf course staff in program delivery. Can also conduct/teach programs in golf instruction to youth.
Visitor's Services Assistant - General work related to public information, office work, and duties such as receptionist.
Trail Management Teams - Organized groups working exclusively on trail creation and maintenance.
