Three Atlantic County organizations will be honored for their outstanding volunteer programs at the fifth annual "Service To Women and Girls" Award Program on Wednesday, September 25 at 7:00 PM at the Atlantic County Library, 40 Farragut Avenue, Mays Landing. Sponsored by the Atlantic County Advisory Commission on Women (ACACW), the awards ceremony recognizes organizations that have benefited and improved the lives of women and girls in Atlantic County.
The 2002 honorees include: The Ladies Invitational Bluefish Tournament, Contact Cape/Atlantic, and Birth Right. Representatives from each of the organizations, as well as some of the program beneficiaries, will be present to accept their awards and offer comments about their organizations. Also present will be local and county officials, including Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson, as well as members of the ACACW.
