Veterans Cemetery Flag Placements - June 29

Local scout troops in cooperation with Atlantic County Parks staff will honor the memories of our fallen veterans and their spouses who are buried in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery with the placement of flags on 6,400 grave sites in preparation for the July Fourth holiday.

Scouts who perform this service on two of three occasions throughout the year (Memorial Day, July Fourth and Veterans Day) will be eligible to receive the Atlantic County Patriotism Patch in recognition of their efforts.

The flag placements will take place on Wednesday, June 29 at 3:30 PM. Rain date is Thursday, June 30 at 3:30 PM.       

The Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery is located within the county park on Route 50 in Estell Manor.
