Atlantic County Provides Community Outreach to Mullica Township, May 5

On Thursday, May 5, representatives from Atlantic County government will be visiting Mullica Township to offer residents information and assistance related to human and social services and programs available from the county.

Staff from the Department of Family and Community Development and the Department of Human Services will be in the township municipal building located at 4528 S White Horse Pike in Elwood from 10 AM to 2 PM.

“We appreciate the opportunity to share information directly with the residents and help them take advantage of services for which they may be eligible,” stated County Executive Dennis Levinson.

Representatives in attendance on May 5 will share information and answer questions about food stamps, general assistance, health care, senior services, Medicaid, Meals on Wheels, community health, the county nursing and rehabilitation center, and more.

“Now that many of the COVID restrictions have been lifted, we are able to provide more public outreach and greater awareness of all the available resources. We hope to make this a monthly event with representatives from different departments and offices,” said Levinson.
