Atlantic County Library System Branches Voted Best Libraries

The public voted and the results are in. The Atlantic County Library System swept the top four places for Best Library in the 2020 Best of the Press readers’ choice awards sponsored by the Press of Atlantic City.

The Egg Harbor Township branch won the gold medal followed by silver medal winner Galloway Township branch. The Mays Landing branch grabbed the bronze and the Ventnor branch was recognized with honorable mention.

“This is the second consecutive year our library branches have swept this category,” noted County Executive Dennis Levinson. “We appreciate the public’s support and are gratified to know our programs and services are appreciated. Each of our nine library branches do a great job and all are winners in my book.”

The Atlantic County Library System provides informational and recreational materials that help educate, enlighten and enrich the lives of county residents and visitors.

Branches are located in Brigantine, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway Township, Hammonton, Mays Landing, Pleasantville, Somers Point and Ventnor.
