44 New Covid-19 Positives and One Death Confirmed June 20

Atlantic County health officials reported the death of a 68-year-old Hamilton Township man due to complications from Covid-19 on Saturday, June 20. Additionally, 44 new positives were confirmed among 31 men, ages 18-82 and 13 women, ages 19-88.
 
Thirty of today’s confirmations were identified in Hammonton, five in Atlantic City, four in Hamilton Township, two in Egg Harbor Township, and one each in Galloway, Northfield and Pleasantville.
 
This brings the countywide totals to 2,729 residents who have tested positive to date with 1,373 having been cleared as recovered. Covid-19 has claimed the lives of 191 county residents. 

Atlantic County has tested 2,068 residents with symptoms for Covid-19 since April 9 in Mays Landing and Northfield, of which nearly 76% have tested negative.
 
Atlantic County will continue to provide testing by appointment for symptomatic county residents with a doctor’s prescription on Tuesday, June 23 in Northfield behind the public works yard at Rt. 9 (New Road) and Dolphin Avenue. Appointments are available 9 AM – 11 AM and can be made online at www.aclink.org.
