One Book New Jersey Book Discussion

Atlantic County Library/Galloway Township invites you to be part of One Book New Jersey on April 7 at 7 pm. Richard Stockton College professor of writing Jack Connor leads the discussion of John McPhee’s The Pine Barrens. The event is open to all.

The Pine Barrens are the largest essentially untouched wilderness east of the Mississippi River. McPhee, described as one of the finest essayists of our time, leads a fascinating journey through a largely unknown world in the most densely populated state in America. The book explores the botanical, cultural, hydrological and historical peculiarities of the Pine Barrens.

Atlantic County Library/Galloway Township is located at 306 E. Jimmie Leeds Road and may be reached by calling 652-2352. The goal of One Book New Jersey is to bring people together through literature by encouraging them to read the same book and participate in discussions and other evens centered on that book.
