Free Transportation to/from One Stop Begins April 30

Atlantic County residents who are receiving general assistance, temporary assistance for needy families and food stamps may take advantage of free transportation to and from the One Stop Career Center in Pleasantville beginning Monday, April 30.

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley has agreed to provide this service to promote easier access to the One Stop Career Center where recipients of government assistance are required to participate in job search and training activities to meet eligibility criteria.

Transportation will be available Monday through Thursday, leaving Atlantic City at 9 AM from Tennessee and Atlantic avenues and departing from the One Stop at 2 S. Main Street in Pleasantville at 11 AM. Reservations are not required, but riders should inform their caseworkers to ensure availability.
