Senior Centers Provide Relief from Heat

Atlantic County senior citizens, sixty years of age or older, may receive some welcome relief from the summer heat at one of the nine air conditioned senior centers located throughout the county.

"The heat and humidity can be tough on all of us, but particularly on our seniors," said County Executive Dennis Levinson. "We want them to know our centers are available to them."

The senior centers are open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the exception of Jeffries Towers in Atlantic City, which is open seven days a week.
