Thinking of starting a new business? Looking for ways to grow your small business?
Learn how to help ensure business success at two free seminars presented by Denise Keller, Training and Technical Assistance Officer, Union County Economic Development Corporation, and sponsored by Atlantic County government, the Atlantic County Improvement Authority and Atlantic Cape Community College.
Introduction to Entrepreneurship will be held on Thursday, October 29, 6-8 PM.
This seminar will help guide participants through the assessment process and enable them to identify their strengths and weaknesses as related to business ownership; determine the feasibility of their business ideas within the targeted markets; and conduct market research, business planning and financial projections.
Financing Your Business will be held on Thursday, November 5, 6-8 PM.
Access to capital is critical to many small businesses, yet many owners are unaware of the financing options available to them. Participants will learn how to match financing programs to their needs, prepare to meet a lender, and deal with obstacles they may face along the way.
Both seminars will be held at Atlantic Cape Community College, Room M129, 5100 Black Horse Pike, Mays Landing.
The seminars are free, but registration is required as space is limited. Participants may register for one or both by contacting Max Slusher, ACIA Economic Development Director, at slusher_max@aclink.org. Please include your name, address and phone number as well as which seminar(s) you would like to attend.
