Don't Let Disaster Strike Twice

Learn how to protect your property and assets from financial exploitation in the wake of a disaster, such as Superstorm Sandy, at a free workshop available on Wednesday, April 29 in three Atlantic County communities.

The 90-minute workshop presented by Rutgers School of Social Work, Office of Continuing Education in cooperation with the Atlantic County Division of Public Health, will raise awareness of the types of exploitation that typically occur and the most effective ways to respond, simple precautions to enact and how to find reputable contractors for repairs.

Each participant will receive a handbook of valuable information and resources.

Residents may attend the workshop at any of the following locations (all held on April 29):
