Small Animal First Aid and CPR Workshop - September 17

The Atlantic County Animal Shelter will host a free workshop for pet owners on Wednesday, September 17, from 6 to 8 PM.

Dr. Catalina Montealegre, a veterinarian at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in Linwood, will demonstrate how to administer basic first aid for common illnesses and injuries in dogs and cats and how to perform CPR. Dr. Montealegre will also discuss the safe handling of injured small animals, common household toxins and trauma stabilization. The workshop will conclude with a question and answer period.

The Atlantic County Animal Shelter is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville.
