Atlantic County government is accepting new project proposals for funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to assist Atlantic County citizens experiencing homelessness.
Approximately $87,000 is available to fund permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless individuals and/or families as well as rapid re-housing for homeless families with children.
Letters of intent must be submitted no later than 4 PM on September 10, 2014 and include a description of project, targeted population and cost. A 25 percent in-kind or cash match is required. HUD will not fund more than 20 percent for case management services for any new project.
