An art exhibit that showcases selected work from more than 65 Atlantic County teens is being held through June 29, 2003 at the Atlantic City Art Center, New Jersey Avenue and the Boardwalk, Atlantic City. The selections are from the 2003 Atlantic County Teen Arts Festival, sponsored by the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, that was held in May on the campus of Richard Stockton College in Pomona.
According to County Executive Dennis Levinson the quality of work is exceptional. "For as many years as we have held this exhibit, I continue to be impressed by the wealth of talent in our area," he said. "It is a tribute to our youth, their parents and their instructors."
A special reception will be held for the artists at the close of the exhibit on Sunday, June 29 at 7:30 PM. It will include recognition of those artists whose work has been selected for a statewide tour and anthology publication.
The exhibit is free and open to the public from 10 AM to 4 PM daily. Free parking is available at New Jersey Avenue and the Boardwalk.
