Atlantic County's Top Academic Students To Be Recognized

The top academic students from each Atlantic County public school district, in grades 8 and 12, will be honored at the 2003 Atlantic County Academic Excellence Program on June 3 at 11 AM at the Lakeview Manor, 753 Park Avenue, Mays Landing.

A total of 121 students will be recognized for their achievements. Each will receive a plaque from their respective district in addition to certificates of achievement from Congressman Frank LoBiondo, Senator William Gormley and County Executive Dennis Levinson, and a letter of congratulations from Sheriff James McGettigan. Atlantic County Teacher of the Year Juanita "Missy" Moore will offer remarks.

The annual event is sponsored by Acting Superintendent of Schools Dr. Daniel Loggi in cooperation with the Atlantic County Association of School Administrators.
