Nominees Wanted for Women's Awards

The Atlantic County Advisory Commission on Women is seeking nominees for its fifth annual Service to Women and Girls Awards. These awards recognize outstanding Atlantic County volunteer-based organizations whose services contribute to improving the lives of area females. The winners will be honored at a ceremony in September.

Nominations may be submitted by calling Roe D'Arcangelo at (609) 343-2229. The deadline for submissions is August 1, 2002.

The Atlantic County Advisory Commission on Women is a nonpartisan membership organization, established in 1994, that promotes programs and policies that foster equality, achievement, justice and a safe environment.
