Human Services Advisory Council Seeks Proposals to Assist the Homeless

Proposals for federal funding to assist Atlantic County's homeless population are now being accepted by the Atlantic County Human Services Advisory Council. Funding is available from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for human service agencies with priority given to applicants that provide permanent housing to chronically homeless individuals. Successful applicants must secure municipal support for proposed projects and identify other potential funding sources.

The deadline for submissions is 4:30 PM, Friday, March 28, 2003. Proposals should include a brief abstract consisting of a program summary (no more than 3 pages) and a budget (no more than 1 page). Please include the agency's history of working with the homeless and any existing programs.
