Public Invited to Historic Preservation Recognition Program

County Executive Dennis Levinson invites the public to attend the third annual Atlantic County Historic Preservation Recognition Program on Friday, June 14 at 3:00 PM at the Historic Absecon Lighthouse, 31 South Rhode Island Avenue, Atlantic City. The program is coordinated by the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.

"Each year we take this opportunity to recognize individuals, organizations and businesses that have taken steps to preserve some of the wonderful historic and cultural resources that make Atlantic County such a unique place," says Levinson.

Dr. Randall F. Mason, Assistant Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation, School of Architecture, University of Maryland, will be the guest speaker for the program. Professor Mason was raised in Brigantine and is a graduate of Atlantic City High School.
