NJDOT Advisory - Rt. 52 Causeway Bridge between Somers Point and Ocean City
The following information was provided by the New Jersey Department of Transportation
Beginning Tuesday, April 2 through Friday, April 19, the sidewalks and right lanes of the Rt. 52 Causeway Bridge between Somers Point and Ocean City are scheduled to be closed in stages between 9 am and 3 pm weekdays to allow for bridge sidewalk cleaning by the NJ Department of Transportation.
Motorists may experience minor delays and should plan travel time accordingly.
UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.

ATLANTIC COUNTY WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON WEDNESDAY,OCTOBER 27, 2021, AT 12:30 PM. THE HEARING WILL BE HELD AT THE LION’S CENTER FOR THE BLIND WHICH IS LOCATED AT 100 CRESTVIEW AVE, ABSECON NJ 08201.
The purpose of this meeting is to inform the public of the proposed use of funds for the 2022 Senior Citizens & Disabled Resident Transportation Assistance Program Grant (SCDRTAP). We are seeking to inform you and listen to any suggestions you may have.
The site is accessible for users of Public Transportation!
Those not able to use Public Transit may use NJ Transit - Access Link (if qualified). Transportation will additionally be available and provided by the Atlantic County Transportation Unit, on a limited first come-first served basis.
In order to encourage full participation in this meeting, please submit requests for any accommodation you may need to the Atlantic County Transportation Unit at least ten days before the meeting/hearing. The Transportation Unit may be reached by calling:
