NJDOT Advisory - Rt. 52 Causeway Bridge between Somers Point and Ocean City
The following information was provided by the New Jersey Department of Transportation
Beginning Tuesday, April 2 through Friday, April 19, the sidewalks and right lanes of the Rt. 52 Causeway Bridge between Somers Point and Ocean City are scheduled to be closed in stages between 9 am and 3 pm weekdays to allow for bridge sidewalk cleaning by the NJ Department of Transportation.
Motorists may experience minor delays and should plan travel time accordingly.
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.
