Reduced Feline Adoption Fee During November

Residents who may be considering adopting a cat or kitten are encouraged to take advantage of the November promotion at the Atlantic County Animal Shelter. Beginning today, November 1, through November 30, the regular $85 adoption fee will be reduced to $25 to help increase pet adoptions.

The shelter offers felines of various ages and temperaments that are already neutered or spayed and available for immediate release to eligible adoptees. Shelter adoptions include age appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and a free veterinary consultation.

The shelter is open to the public seven days a week, 1-4 PM with the exception of Tuesday when it closes at 3 PM. It is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville.
