Atlantic County History Organizations Awarded More than $7,000 for Local History Programs

The Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, through a generous grant from the New Jersey State Historical Commission, has awarded $7,100 to four local non-profit arts organizations through a competitive grant process. These awards will help provide Atlantic County residents with access to quality historical experiences and resources within their communities and promote the importance of history programs to quality of life.

The following organizations were awarded History grants:

Galloway Township Historical Society, Atlantic County Veterans Museum Foundation, Atlantic County Historical Society, Somers Point Historical Society
