Rt. 50, Tuckahoe River Bridge

Please note, the following information has been provided to Atlantic County by the NJ Department of Transportation regarding a current project that may impact county motorists.

Starting at 7 AM and continuing until 2 PM, on Friday, September 9, a traffic shift will be in effect on Route 50 at the Tuckahoe River Bridge onto the newly reconstruction west side of the bridge to prepare for the demolishing and reconstruction of the east side of the bridge. The bridge will continue to have one lane of alternating traffic with temporary traffic signals. Access to local roads will be maintained for local traffic. Motorists should expect delays in the area because of the ongoing construction. Trucks will continue to follow the existing detours between Mosquito Landing Road and Route 49.
