Defensive Shooting Skills (5/19/2018), This a NEW OFFERING! PLEASE NOTE - YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED BOTH OUR Two-Day BASIC AND Two - Day INTERMEDIATE CLASS TO REGISTER FOR THIS OFFERING! This course is a two day intensive shooting course designed to teach various shooting positions to effectively enhance survivability in an armed encounter. You must be proficient and familiar with the safe operation of your firearm and equipment. You must also be in good physical shape as this course will require repeated movement and physical exertion. Dress for the weather, wear old clothes with back pockets in your pants. This course will be held on Range 2. This is a rain or shine course! If you are not physically able to get up off the ground, or if you don't like the idea of shooting in the rain or lying on the wet ground, then this course is NOT for you. (THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN!) Day One; 8:15 AM til Noon Classroom Lecture (Lunch Break 45 Minutes) Day One; 12:45 PM until completion Live Fire Drills Day Two: 8:15 AM until completion Live Fire Exercises working on the skills learned on the previous day.(Lunch Break 45 Minutes) Equipment Requirements: 9MM, .40 S&W, .45 ACP Semi-Automatic Handgun only (NO Optics Iron Sight Only) Holster, Belt, Double Magazine Pouch, 3 Magazines, Eye an Ear Protection, Notebook, Pen and 350 rounds of ammunition.
