TRAFFIC ADVISORIES Currently in effect on county roadways
Wescoat Road, EHT and Absecon
Beginning Monday, May 1 through Friday, May 5, a detour will remain in effect on Wescoat Road between Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township and Mill Road in Absecon, 7 AM – 4 PM, for work by the NJ Turnpike Authority.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route. Police will be on site to assist.
Philadelphia Avenue & Clarks Landing Road, EHC
Beginning at 6 AM on Monday, May 1, weather permitting, an alternating lane traffic pattern will be in effect through 3 PM at the intersection of Philadelphia Avenue and Clarks Landing Road in Egg Harbor City for county road work.
Motorists may experience delays and should plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Cologne Avenue, Hamilton Township
Beginning Monday, May 1 through Friday, May 5, weather permitting, a detour will be in effect on Cologne Avenue in Hamilton Township between Lombard Street and Drosera Avenue, 7 AM to 5 PM daily for county road work.
Motorists should follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Main Street, Pleasantville
On Friday, April 28 and again on Monday, May 1 through Friday, May 5, weather permitting, a stop and go/ lane shift traffic pattern will be in effect on Main Street in Pleasantville at various locations between Washington Avenue and Mulberry Avenue, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm for utility work by the South Jersey Gas Co.
Police will be on site to assist, however, delays are expected. Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time or seek an alternate route.
Traffic Advisory - Rt. 50, Tuckahoe River Bridge, Corbin City
Please note, the following information has been provided to Atlantic County by the NJ Department of Transportation regarding a current project that may impact county motorists.
Beginning January 27 through the summer of 2017, a lane shift will be in effect on Route 50 in Tuckahoe between Mosquito Landing Road and Route 49 for the state’s replacement of the Tuckahoe River Bridge between Upper Township in Cape May County and Corbin City in Atlantic County.
The bridge will remain open to motorists with one lane and a temporary traffic signal to alternate traffic.
A special truck detour will be implemented for both northbound and southbound trucks.
