UPDATE - Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
On Friday, January 26, at approximately 9:30 AM, weather permitting, and following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road, a year-long detour is scheduled to go into effect onSomers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
Somers Point-Mays Landing Road, Egg Harbor Township
Beginning on or about Wednesday, January 24 (following the reopening of Bevis Mill Road), Somers Point-Mays Landing Road in Egg Harbor Township will be closed to traffic between Steelmanville Road and English Creek Avenue for reconstruction of bridge EH-29.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route. The detour is expected to remain in place for approximately one year.

Spring will be here before we know it and what better way to start the season than with the annual spring clean up in the Atlantic County Parks! This year marks the Park’s 8th year of the cleanup. This program has proved to be a successful event each year. These clean ups are a great asset in keeping the Parks green and clean.
We will meet in the stone parking lot at Lake Lenape Park West and travel as a group, up to the beginning of Weymouth Road (CR 559). We will then focus on the 1.5 mile portion of our property from here to Defeo’s Farm Market. If we have time or litter volume is light we will proceed to our Deep Run property just up the road and finish our morning there. Once the cleanup is completed, we will meet at Lake Lenape West for lunch.
